Warrior/ Necromancer Hard Mode Raptor Farmer First thing I have to say - You will fail. It takes a while to get used to and even once you have mastered it, you will still get times where you rubber band or die or some random thing just doesnt work.
Secondly - It is an awesome way to get asuran rep, gold items, assassin tomes (normal and elite) and plenty of different dyes.
Thirdly - many thanks to my brother (Deathrow) for teaching me how to do this in the first place. To Nikko The Almighty and Conann Da Barbaian for showing me that it doesnt have to be done one way and one way only. Everyone is diferent and have their own preferences.

How to do itBefore you leave town ensure 3 things:
- Have you cleared your inventory?
- Have you changed it to HARD MODE!!!?
- Do you have your Paragon Hero?
- [OPTIONAL] Do you have any leechers? (Leechers = faster zoning and better drops)
Once the pre run checks are complete, lets move on with the actual run. Exit Rata Sum into Riven Earth (to the east). Using the hero command bar, make Hayda
(im using her but if you have GM use your imagination and replace the words) cast
Vocal Was Sogolon as you run over to the Sky Krew Member to receive the blessing.
Now you have the blessing, press "F" to target your character and make Hayda cast
Enduring Harmony and start running towards the cave (avoiding any mobs outside). Half way across, get Hayda to use
"Make Haste" and
flag her either into a mob away from the entrance or back towards the entrance to Rata Sum.
Note: If you are worried about taking hits while doing the lap and think its a good idea to take "Incoming" or "Fall Back", DONT. The health gain from these skill cause the raptors (even in HM) to un-agro and stuff up your run.As you enter the cave, press "C" to target the nearest raptor and cast
Mark of Pain on it as soon as possible (the raptors have a
Disrupting Stab that will interupt you if you cast MoP too late). See image below:
Head left and up the hill avoiding but making sure you get as many of the raptors in your agro range (the bubble) as possible. Go around the pillar but not as far as the rock and head back towards the other end of the cave. By now you should have half the raptors following you. Depending on where the mobs have moved to in the cave, you might have to go left or right around the rock that should be in front of you. Choose your path and keep running until you are either up against a wall or you are just about to get blocked in. At this stage, cast
Endure Pain, Dolyak Signet, Protector's Defence and
Hundred Blades and wait a second for the mob to ball up and your
Mark of Pain to finish cooling down (it should be either just finished or have 2-3 seconds left).
Cast
Wary Stance, wait for your energy and adrenaline to build (this will only take a second) then cast
Mark of Pain. As soon as it has finished casting, use
Shield Stance then
Whirlwind Attack.
Note: Thanks to the raptors having Disrupting Stab and you only having a 75% chance to block, your Whirlwind Attack can still be disrupted, causing your run to be over and unable to be finished.
If you have any questions or would like a demonstration, just let me know either on here on in game. Thanks for listening and I hope you can now raptor farm like a pro.
